Students will use this simulation to learn the basics of ionic compounds, how to write formulas and name ionic compounds. They will build different cards and create squares. A table at the bottom of the simulation will automatically generate to formulas and names of all completed compounds.
This sorting game helps students master chemical nomenclature. Users drag and drop chemical names or formulas into categories like elements, acids, ionic, and molecular compounds. Subsequent tabs provide more detailed sorting for ionic and acid sub-types, reinforcing complex classification rules.
